Speed
can be simply defined as quickness over a given period of time. Speed in
the rope allows the athlete to gain that extra edge and develop and
build on distance, such as sprinting and can take those extra seconds
over a given distance. Speed in the rope allows the body to react with
the fast twitch fibres in the
muscles, it can be increased forcing the aerobic energy system to allow
intensity for longer periods of time.

Power
This gives the
athlete explosive power that can trigger speed and quickness it can
allow the athlete to react quicker to the advantage in a split second.
The power programme improves posture, increased grip strength, conditions the back, shoulders and chest and strengthens the wrist, knee
and ankles.

Agility
This
is excellent for any sport it allows the athlete to the accelerate,
decelerate and quickly change direction and react quicker to any given
situation, it allows the athlete to have incredible balance, speed and
hand to foot coordination.
