FAQs
Q. Do I have to be very
fit to jump rope?
A. With the Ropics

none jumping techniques (NJTs). NJTs require less energy than jumping
techniques (JTs), they give your legs a rest, and allow you time to
catch your breath. As you become more fit and conditioned , you simply
increase the proportion of time sent jumping relate to none jumping
techniques.

my knees?
A. When done
properly Jumping rope (skipping) actually helps prevent, and
rehabilitate injuries, by strengthening the muscle tissue, bones, and
the joints.
Q. Do I need to practise
first before I attend a class?
A. Definitely not
, All Ropics instructors are qualified Jumprope instructors, and will
teach you perfect jumping technique.
Q. Do I need to bring my
own rope to the class?
A. No all Ropics
classes provide the perfect rope which you can purchase if you wish.
Q. What do I wear to a
Ropics class?
A. The most
important thing that you will wear in a Ropics class will be the
trainers you wear. Jumping rope is similar to dance exercise with the
initial impact on the ball of the foot, therefore, a good pair of
aerobic or cross trainers work the best. There is no special type of
Apparel needed to jump rope. Any comfortable loose fitting clothing
such as shorts and T-shirt will do. Lycra or cotton stretch shorts and
leotards are also very comfortable and allow none restrictive body
movement. Females should wear a sports bra for comfort, and support.
